Can we get a "Breaking Changes" section on new releases?

For the 5.0 release, it is very easy to miss that you need to add the new STORAGES['dbbackup'] section to your settings, or else the package defaults to storing your backups in the publicly accessible "media" folder. This seems like a pretty drastic side effect that should have been called out in a very clear manner to avoid disastrous consequences for users.
