The cloning of a Graph Template seems to also trigger cloning of a data query, at least it does in the case of duplicating the interface trafffic graph template. I did not enter the new graph template name in the "duplication wizard", so it seems it created the graph template as "original name (1)", which i expected, and then also created a new data query with the name "original name (1)". So i tried it again, entering its new name when it asks. Now i get the Graph Template with the new name. I then changed the --title option in the graph template and looked up the data queries: i have TWO new data queries under the new name. One has a bytes set in datasource in and out, the other has bits set in datasource in and out. I copied the bits template though. Seeing the suggested names options in the data source config, i see now that maybe that is a better place to set the options i want. I'll try it right now |

I'm guessing i'm in the right tracks, however it is extremely tedious, changing the suggested values for graphs and data sources for 15 data queries |

I am trying to add a duplicate of the default Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) template to the automation rules of a device type (switch)
I have created the duplicate with the appropriate button and mady my changes to Name and Graph Title.
However, in the automation section, graph rules, i can only select a graph type, not the specific graph template to use.
I do get a seperate entry in the graph type selection list, however, with the name "Interface - Traffic (bits/sec) (1)" which is a name none of my graph templates has.
So i guess i have two questions:
