Is it possible to partially read a blob?

I found the repo.find_blob() API which reads an entire blob into memory. It works fine, but what if I only want to partially read a blob? I can't do it with this API. Is there a lazy stream style API for reading blobs? I guess it would be fairly complex due to pack files and compression and so on, but I think it should be possible?

Indeed, there is no streaming of blobs precisely because of 'the packfile problem'. Loose objects can be streamed though, and it's always possible to turn packed objects back into loose ones.
