Angular ABP - Open menu item in new tab instead of same tab

I’m using ABP.io Angular UI and I have all my routes defined in route.provider.
By default, when I click on a menu item, the component overrides the current tab.

I would like to change this behavior so that each menu item opens in a new browser tab instead.

Example of my route config:
