Remote Config stuck on default values after restoring from backup

Description

I'm using Remote Config in my app. I call fetchAndActivate() and addOnConfigUpdateListener() when the app launches. Nothing else special beyond that.

I've discovered an issue where after restoring an iPhone from backup, the app continues to use the default values I've implemented in code. Even after restarting the app, it doesn't fetch the values from Firebase.
The only way to resolve this is to reinstall the app.

Do you have any insights into what might be causing this?
