Add ability to create multiple target branch within the same Repo?

Currently, when I need to work on another branch, I have to update the configuration and switch the target branch.
It would be perfect if each repository could support multiple tabs for working on different target branches simultaneously.

We are planning to support multiple workspaces, and each one could have its own target.
However, we'd also like to support standard Git workflows better, so it should be easy to work with local tracking branches, and to merge locally as well. Not everyone needs workspaces in the sense that GitButler provides them.
