Initially, I choose git-change-announcements as project name, but then switched to git-notify for a shorter alternative. Mostly, because git notify me seems to be a short, easy to remember main command.
As I found out, the name is already used by at least two other projects that both do similar, but different things.

It focuses on adding announcements to commit messages and printing them after pull.
Should we change the name? what would be another, maybe even better fitting name?
