Ah yep, I can see how that might be confusing. Let me think on this one since this component is also used by Feedbin which doesn't allow multi-tag updates. |

Because I was curious, I just checked what happens if I write a new tag in the input field and select one of the existing tags at the same time. They both get assigned after hitting save. Could that also happen with the Feedbin backend, or is the tag selection dialog different there? 🤔 |

Oh good point, y'know, I may have programmed multiselect for Feedbin. I was going off of memory. I'll take a look at the code again! |

The input field for new filters has a nice + button to the right that let's you add multiple new items without closing the dialog, something that could also be useful for tags.
This feature request brought to you by me trying for 5 minutes to get tags working for the first time, before realizing that the + inside the input field doesn't work at all like the blocklist dialog and you need to hit save to get a tag added 🙈
