Interest in Becoming a Maintainer

I'm an active user of the library and have noticed recently that pull requests are not being merged frequently, which affects several projects relying on it. I'd like to help address this by becoming a maintainer.

Could you please advise on how I might become a maintainer or contribute more actively to supporting the project?
