Location history line wrong way round when crossing the 180th meridian #157

Hi,
I've noticed an issue when taking long-haul flights across the Pacific Ocean. The frontend displays the history line as going the other way around the world.
For example:

Screenshot of owntracks frontend (San Francisco to Toyko) Screenshot of owntracks frontend (Santiago de Chile to Auckland)

My assumption is this is because it crosses the 180th meridian.
I just wanted to ask, is this a known limitation? Or is it something specific with my setup?
It seems like a tricky challenge to solve for a lot of geographic software. (And must be a pain for people living in places like Taveuni!)
