X11 Display Errors

Hi, I'm trying to build this from source on Ubuntu 20.04. Has anyone had the issue:

+ dconf write /org/gnome/mutter/workspaces-only-on-primary false
error: Cannot autolaunch D-Bus without X11 $DISPLAY
make: *** [Makefile:35: configure] Error 1

When you attempt to build? Is this possibly a misconfiguration in my environment?

The script that seems to be throwing the error is the configure.sh script.

Ok guys, ignore this. The issue was that I tried to download pop shell and compile as another user (the administrator). I re-compiled using the local user and no sudo and it installed correctly.
