Build dependencies are undocumented

The README.md file doesn´t explain about the required build-time dependencies. There is a need to clarify those to ease the build and process by third-parties, especially contributors.

Hi @davidpolverari to my best knowledge the build dependencies are:

• A C99 compiler (currently seems to rely on -std=gnu99 but can be fixed, likely easily)
• pkg-config

For a fresh Git clone additional dependencies are:

• autoconf
• automake

I'm not a maintainer here but I'll be happy to review a related pull request.

I created this issue more as a reminder to add those build dependencies to the README. As I was planning to enhance the file, I postponed solving the issue, but I will do it asap. Anyways, thanks for the help again!
