I'm interested in contributing to this codebase, are you open to accepting pull requests with improvements?

The logic here seems rock solid, I don't want to touch that. I'd like to submit a PR that does the following:

1. Improved dependency management by pinning versions, and providing a Dockerfile for ease of use.
2. Build this into a package so users can more easily install and use the code.
3. Improve code readability by updating variable names, function/class names, adding docstrings and code comments.
