Hello, The other files for languages are all in this folder: https://github.com/textadventures/quest/tree/v5/WorldModel/WorldModel/Core/Languages I think German is the language that has been tested and updated more than everything other than English. So these two files should be good examples: Here is a link to a line that defines a <verbtemplate name="drop">lege</verbtemplate>If that doesn't help, you can attach your file(s) here, and we can look at what you've got and most probably get everything working. |

Also, looking at a German .aslx file: <!--Saved by Quest 5.9.9166.36226-->
<asl version="580">
<include ref="Deutsch.aslx" />
<include ref="Core.aslx" />
<game name="test game">He is not including English.aslx, and this game runs for me. (It only understands German commands, too.) I bet your games will work without including English once you get all the verb templates in your file. |

Hi everyone!
I’ve been trying to add Euskara (Basque) as a new language in Quest.
So far, I’ve created a new file called Euskara.aslx and added it as an included library.
I didn’t remove English.aslx (if I do, Quest throws an error), and now all the system messages and responses appear correctly in Basque, which is great.
However, I can’t get custom commands in Euskara to work.
For example, I want to type begiratu instead of look, or hartu instead of take, but Quest only recognizes the English verbs.
I’ve added my own <template templatetype="command" ...> patterns for Basque commands, and they seem correct, but the parser still ignores them.
Has anyone successfully added new verb patterns for a custom language?
Do I need to override something specific in the core parser to make non-English commands work?
Thanks in advance for any pointers!
