1.4 Distinguishable - Missing Change of font family

PROBLEMS
A) Success Criterion 1.4.4 Resize Text (alias Change font size)
does not have an equivalent for Change font family.
This is particularly usefull for dyslexic audience.
This service is already available in most browsers and ebook reading systems (by changing default font, and overriding authors'/editors' font.

B) The WCAG 2.2 is supposed to fully cover the European Accessibility Act (EAA). But this is false on this point.
Annex I, section II, paragraph b, sub-paragraph v
"Presenting in FONTS of adequate size and suitable SHAPE, taking into account foreseeable conditions of use and using sufficient contrast, as well as adjustable spacing between letters, lines and paragraphs."
This has been forgotten in the EPUB Accessibility - EU Accessibility Act Mapping.
Nota : the oversight has been reported in ticket w3c/epub-specs#2752

SOLUTION

Add a new Success criterion 1.4.14 Change font family.
Sufficient Techniques : Using a technology that has commonly-available user-agents that allow the adding of OpenDyslexic, and its activation as default font family.

After studing Acrobat reader together with the PDF/UA-2 format, it appears that Adobe provides the means of smoothing serif fonts if ever used.
In the EAA, it seems that the mention of "font SHAPE", instead of "font FAMILY", it is probably not the result of chance, but a way to keep PDF/UA-2 born accessible.

FOR INFORMATION 2
I just discovered that fonts specially designed for dyslexic people do not fully satisfy all those concerned (OpenDyslexic,
EasyReading, Dyslexie Font).
This means that not all dyslexic people will use this facility to read. It should probably be a AAA level criteria.
Furthermore, overriding publisher's font can be problematic for special characters (such as maths, greek, IPA, etc.) when the chosen font by the users does not support this range of characters. The cure would be worse than the disease, as the editorial content would be altered, and not readable at all.
