Timeline for Phoenix 5 availability

Is there a timeline on when Phoenix 5 will be available for SystemCore? We hadn't realized that it still wasn't released and were planning to run a robot that includes multiple Talon SRX controllers at an offseason. Depending on the timeline we're probably going to need to replace all of those controllers in order to continue testing, which we would prefer to avoid.

The earliest timeline for support would be sometime in the post 2026 season, when the build infrastructure and ecosystem are more stabilized. The Talon SRX and Victor SPX are always supported through PWM, so you can still use open-loop functionality using the SmartIO ports on the SystemCore.

We highly recommend that teams migrate to supported Phoenix 6 devices; they offer much more functionality, support, and receive constant maintenance and feature updates.

Thanks for the update. We need closed loop control in this context, so we ended up migrating the robot to Spark Maxes since they have full support on SystemCore.
