* Writing my proposals onto a Google doc was a great way to organize my thoughts during our meeting.

* Captioning was more difficult than I expected and could easily turn into an endless task if I wanted the captioning to be 100% perfect.

###### Local build notes

* Had to install python 3.13 via deadsnakes because the jupyterbook wants ipython==9.2.0, ubuntu is still on python 3.10.12.
* Building the book takes quite long, 6 minutes, but works

##### Captioning

* Setting up computer for captioning and learn how to caption with JK (0.5 hour)
* Captioning and watching the video (3.25 hours)
* Convert to caption file, upload, summary of video, etc (0.25 hour)

##### Meetings

* Met with KW and JK and TH for weekly update (2 hours)
* Met with LWH (1 hour)
* explained my The Turing Way work and issue templates

* Staffing DSUS was successful.
Shifts were well defined and the event went smoothly.

* DSUS workshop was such a great event!
I met so many people and learned a lot about the data science ecosystem here on campus.

* When writing pieces for a workshop event, it was a challenge to figure out what to write about.
There was a lot of information being presented.
I needed to identify the overarching theme and write about only the relevant aspects of the talk.
