Pull request type

Please check the type of change your PR introduces:

  • Bugfix
  • Feature
  • Code style update (formatting, renaming)
  • Refactoring (no functional changes, no API changes)
  • Build related changes
  • Documentation content changes
  • Other (please describe):

What is the current behavior?

Currently all modules support HTTP proxies through environment variables (http_proxy, https_proxy).
For the lookup modules there seems to be an issue with authentication though.

But there is definitely no explicit support by the modules for proxies.

What is the new behavior?

All modules (including lookups) support HTTP proxies.
