Hi all! I'm Lauren. ☀️

I am an Application Developer at Ascedia Inc., a digital strategy agency based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I took a winding path through schooling at UW-Milwaukee, many service industry jobs, teaching English in China, a long walk on the Appalachian Trail, and a full-stack bootcamp to land on the world of Ascedia, coding full time. These days, I work on a variety of different ASP.NET projects - deploying, managing, and building web applications in .NET Core, C#, SQL, JavaScript, Kentico, Umbraco, etc.

🌻 I'm currently working on

  • An Xperience by Kentico (XbyK) .NET 8 multisite rebuild of a legacy project for a Wisconsin government agency
  • Maintining a legacy ASP.NET MVC 3 project
  • Pitching RFPs for Umbraco 13 and Xperience By Kentico website rebuilds

  • Preparing for the Kentico 13 developer exam
  • Working my way through FreeCodeCamp's JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures Certification course
  • Building an Umbraco 13 proof of concept
