This implements the functionality proposed in issue 22286. (fixes #22286)
It adds a new library option to kotlin-spring generator called
spring-declarative-http-interface, which allows for generation of Spring Declarative Http Interfaces for simple instantiations of clients that is available since Spring Boot 3.I implemented ability to switch between
ResponseEntity<SomeClassType>wrapped method return types or just plainSomeClassTypeand support for both reactive and non-reactive options. For reactive options I implemented support for both kotlin-native
coroutineapproach (with the exception of not returningFlowfor collections/arrays asFlowis not supported by spring declarative interfaces) as well asreactorapproach with responses wrapped inMonoorFlux.PR checklist
Commit all changed files.
This is important, as CI jobs will verify all generator outputs of your HEAD commit as it would merge with master.
These must match the expectations made by your contribution.
You may regenerate an individual generator by passing the relevant config(s) as an argument to the script, for example
./bin/generate-samples.sh bin/configs/java*.IMPORTANT: Do NOT purge/delete any folders/files (e.g. tests) when regenerating the samples as manually written tests may be removed.
master(upcoming7.x.0minor release - breaking changes with fallbacks),8.0.x(breaking changes without fallbacks)"fixes #123"present in the PR description)I will also dare to tag members of the java-spring technical committee as this is mostly about the Spring aspect and I think the language is not as important - tagging @cachescrubber @welshm @MelleD @atextor @manedev79 @javisst @borsch @banlevente @Zomzog @martin-mfg
