This merge request adds an prometheus metrics exporter to aws-es-proxy to monitor problems when sending to ES. We encountered an incident when elasticsearch had internal problems but logging to it using aws-es-proxy looked good at first sight. This allows to monitor/alert on problems here.
Feature is disabled by default.
