@dlgeorge has done something similar for the NetCDF output, we should make sure everything is compatible there as well. Also, I assume this includes the `aux array as well? |

This is work in progress, to allow output of only specified components of q. At the moment, it only works for ASCII output. I couldn't find a way to output only part of a Vec with a PETSc viewer. @daclinl, is it possible to do so?
