Currently when branching a package OBS doesn't transfer the originals build meta object to the branched version.
It may be better to fix this upstream.

TODO:
Since this deserialises and serializes package meta this needs an xml dom to avoid loosing fields and causing more issues than it fixes.
I'm looking into using the
xml_domcrate.
