Feedback from a user:

Here are some notes on some minor things we could do to make the initial dev experience just a tad smoother:

1.) Add a npm install -g fern-api step to the start of the Clone the starter repository section so people have the dependencies to successfully complete the fern generate --docs step.
2.) Add a fern upgrade step to the instructions so people use the latest version. This would mean people don't get an error/reminder to fern upgrade on first publish

[docs]: Failed to publish docs.
╭──────────────────────────────────╮
│ │
│ Upgrades available │
│ │
│ Fern 0.57.29 → 0.77.1 │
│ (Run fern upgrade to update)

which happened when I ran fern generate --docs the first time.

3.) I read the instructions too quickly and missed that you asked me to edit docs.yml - you might lose a small portion of casually-browsing devs here who see this error

[docs]: Failed to publish docs.
┌─
│ x plantstore.docs.buildwithfern.com
└─

message. Possible to update this message with a hint to replace the url with their own org-name e.g. [pg-plantstore.docs.buildwithfern.com](http://pg-plantstore.docs.buildwithfern.com/) if they use this specific URL!

4.) There's a link to your blog [blog.buildwithfern.com](http://blog.buildwithfern.com/) in the Blog section which is dead and should be changed to [https://buildwithfern.com/blog](https://buildwithfern.com/blog%60)

5.) The "Hey :) This typeform is now closed" message could do with removal at a future date so users spend more time thinking about Fern and less thinking about Typeform. This page appears on redirect from signing in. This might require replacing whatever functionality is currently served by Typeform here.
