All changes are in part d. They are detailed below
In the summation result of the$E(M)$ calculation, the term $1/n$ inside the summation is wrong. Fixed to the correct term $1/i$ inside the summation.
In the current solution, the summation result of$E(M)$ is stated as equal to $\log(n) + 0.577$ . This expression is an approximation for the sum of the first $n$ terms of the harmonic series, and is valid only for large $n$ . Since the problem did not explicitly state that there are many radioactive particles, I think it is best to write the result of $E(M)$ as a summation.
Added the calculation of the variance of$M$ .
