This PR updates the README to clarify that Spec Kit can be used with existing (brownfield) projects.\n\n- Getting started: add in-place initialization example using
specify init --herewith a brief CAUTION, and link to the detailed section.\n- New section: "Use in an existing project (in-place)" with safety guidance (clean working tree, new branch, review diffs, consider backup/fresh clone).\n- NOTE linking to Issue #38 about the proposed default scaffolding location./specify.
