@eduardomourar can we implement this as an option? I like the idea of being able to ignore certain types, perhaps providing a function as one of the options to decide if the subschema should be filtered out |

We would like to filter the types that are being flattened. You can find more details on how AWS is enforcing the properties to be flattened (but only
objecttype) in its extended JSON schema (details here).
