There were some reports where Kubeshark wasn't running out of the box on Openshift. We plan to make sure it runs flawlessly on Openshift, but we haven't gotten to that yet.

# Dynatrace

There was one report about `CrashLoopBackOff` status of `kubeshark-worker-daemon-set` pods on the cluster on which Dynatrace deployed with full observability (full-stack) which can be either [classic](https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/setup-and-configuration/setup-on-k8s/installation/classic-full-stack) or [cloud-native](https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/setup-and-configuration/setup-on-k8s/installation/cloud-native-fullstack) . At least on OpenShift. This can be solved by [exlusion of Kubeshark from Dynatrace OneAgent monitoring](https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/setup-and-configuration/setup-on-k8s/guides/operation/annotate#exclude-specific-namespaces-from-being-monitored) by one of below ways.

> However **PLEASE NOTE** that exclusion is possible **only** in **`cloud-native`** Dynatrace deployment, and **IMPOSSIBLE** in `classic`

## Only `kubeshark-worker-daemon-set` pods exclusion

```shell
helm install kubeshark kubeshark/kubeshark --set tap.excludeWorkerFromDynatrace=true
```

## Whole `kubeshark` namespace exclusion

Add below to `spec` key of CR of `DynaKube` CRD

```yaml
namespaceSelector:
matchExpressions:
- key: "name"
operator: NotIn
values:
- "kubeshark" # or whatever namespace Kubeshark is deployed in
```

This can be done on Dynatrace [cloud-native](https://docs.dynatrace.com/docs/setup-and-configuration/setup-on-k8s/installation/cloud-native-fullstack) deployment by either

* Editing manifest file (if Dynatrace is already deployed)

* or by editing above CR e.g. via `kubectl` or `oc` (OpenShift) like below:

1. Get the name of CR:

```shell
kubectl get dynakube -n dynatrace
2. Edit CR name :
```shell
kubectl edit <CR_NAME_GOTTEN_ABOVE> -n dynatrace
```
3. Redeploy Kubeshark if the problem still persists
## Well That Didn't Work
