Rather than trying to rip some unwanted stuff out of the build system,
copy the relevant directories from the build system into a fresh plain
image, thus reducing the image with 3 GB or so.
Found my skinny image ~ 200 MB rather than 3.5 GB

Thanks for the suggestion, I'm not accepting PR for this repo but will implement what u suggested here, it's a great idea and we always try to reduce our docker image size whenever we could.

That's fine. I did it because it solved some operational issues for me having smaller images.
I just thought it was the proper way for me to show my appreciation for the effort you've done with these.

Much appreciated, we plan to apply your suggestion in Grafana and will see what other packages could do the same too.
