Hey Mark,

Here's a work in progress pull request for MIC-E format encoding. I haven't tried it on the air yet but direct into soundcard + direwolf + xastir seems to work ok. I still need to do some more testing before I'd be happy to formally make a pull request but I thought I'd let you know what I'm up to.

Cheers,
Tim

Hi tahpee! This is some great work! Thanks a lot for contributing! How do you feel about merging it at this point? Do you want to test it some more, or do you think it is good to go?

I think it still needs some more love and testing. I got a GPS module going with the Arduino over the weekend and took it for a drive today. There were some very odd position reports so I'm currently checking that the MIC-E encoder is doing the right thing and encoding the position correctly. I'll let you know once I have completed the testing and got some sensible position reports in.

Hey Mark,
I think it's all good. Turns out it was 'user error' putting the lat/long into the library. I didn't realise at first that it was degrees/minutes/fractions of minutes rather than degrees/minutes/seconds.
All good to merge when you want.

Cheers,
Tim
