  • NFSv4 is needed to seamlessly (and automatically) mount all nested ZFS datasets
  • NFSv4 unmount has to be forced frequently (issue doesn't appear when Finder is not used for browsing)
  • First ZFS file access over NFS is extremely slow for some reason (EDIT - NFSv3 is unaffected)

EDIT: anylinuxfs takes care of mounting all exported datasets with NFSv3, this works reasonably well
