Another idea just came to mind:

If a community set can also refer to other community sets, it will be possible to create forums with complex hierarchy.

General categories might have multiple layers of niche subcategories like traditional forum software (i.e. phpBB).

UPD: Nevermind, complex board structure should be defined in a separate NIP

I know this looks like a win for engineers ("look at me, doing complex stuff"), but it is really not. Users don't deal well with hierarchical structures.

@vitorpamplona sure, simplicity is better. My app does not have complex board hierarchy, so I don't need it personally.

Hierarchical structures can be used to create forum apps like bitcointalk, with a lot of subcategories and child boards. If anyone will need that, they can raise that question later.
