ℹ️ Your browser is the most important software you will use. I don't think there is a perfect browser out there. Your best choice will vary depending upon if you prioritize performance, features, privacy or security.
- Google Chrome 🌟 - Needs no introduction. Bad for user privacy but it is the fastest and most secure browser with the most compatibility for websites.
- Firefox - A fast, lightweight, privacy-focused browser that works across all your devices.
- Tor Browser - Defend yourself against tracking and surveillance. Circumvent censorship.
- Zen Browser - Firefox fork that is beautifully designed, privacy-focused, and packed with features.
- Bitwarden 🌟 - A secure and free password manager for all of your devices.
- KeypassXC - Free, open source, light-weight, and easy-to-use password manager.
ℹ️ The lesser number of extensions you have the better it is for privacy and security. It is easier to fingerprint users with many extensions.

- Duckduckgo - A decent search engine but doesn't give good search results imo.
- Protonmail - Secure Email based in Switzerland.
- Tutanota - Encrypted email & calendar service - easy to use, secure by design.
- qBittorrent 🌟 - An open-source software alternative to µTorrent.
- Transmission - Simple and lightweight open-source torrent client.
ℹ️ I would recommend self-hosting your own VPN on a VPS or a home server to avoid trusting a third-party VPN provider.
- Wireguard 🌟 - Extremely simple yet fast and modern VPN. Easy to self host, also check out PiVPN for an installation script.
- Tailscale 🌟 - Zero config VPN, I use this to remotely access my home server despite being under a ISP CGNAT.
- Mullvad - Probably the only third-party VPN provider I would recommend.

- VirusTotal.com - Analyze suspicious files and URLs to detect types of malware, automatically share them with the security community.

- Chris Titus Tech WinUtil 🌟 - Chris Titus Windows utility, use it to debloat and tweak Windows. It's almost always a good idea to run it during each update/install of Windows.
- Arch linux - DIY Linux Distro, great for building lightweight and customized Linux environments.
- Debian 🌟 - A free and open source distribution that is the base for other major distros like Ubuntu, MX Linux, Linux Mint, etc. It is the second oldest actively maintained GNU/Linux distribution.
- Linux Mint 🌟 - Linux Mint is a community-driven Linux distribution based on Ubuntu, excellent choice for beginners.
- Tails - Tails is a portable operating system that runs on a live environment. Really good for browsing anonymously as data is stored in ram and wiped on reboot.
- Qubes OS - Really secure operating-system that uses virtualized environments for segregated workflows.
