Make sure your contrib directory is defined in `$HOME/.zpreztorc`:

```shell
zstyle ':prezto:load' pmodule-dirs $HOME/.zprezto-contrib
```

Clone k into your contrib directory

```shell
git clone https://github.com/supercrabtree/k $HOME/.zprezto-contrib/k
```

Enable the module in `$HOME/.zpreztorc`:

```shell
zstyle ':prezto:load' pmodule \
'environment' \
...
'k'
```
