In MIUI, the detected password input box will force the user to use the Xiaomi Security Keyboard and cannot be switched.
I removed
EditorInfo.TYPE_TEXT_VARIATION_VISIBLE_PASSWORDto solve the problem and it works well on my phone (Redmi note 9 4g, MIUI 12.5.5).
